We do not treat our seeds with neonicotinoid pesticide or any pesticides. Our seeds are cleaned, dried and packaged. If you are concerned about the use of synthetic pesticide and fertilizer in the production of our seed, we recommend our organic seeds found here on our website. 

All of our organic seeds are produced from plants that have not been treated with any synthetic pesticides or fertilizers and all of Burpee's organic seeds have been certified organic by the Oregon Tilth.

With regards to our plants, we use integrated pest management in our greenhouses and only apply pesticides according to the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture rules for pesticide application. We do not treat our plants with Neonicotinoid pesticides. We make every effort in our production methods not to harm bees.
