- Carefully dig up the bulb after the first frost, do not damage the bulb.
- Cut off any remaining foliage, the bulbs can be rinsed to remove soil but do not scrub them.
- Let the bulb dry in a warm dry dark place for a week, making sure there is good air circulation.
- Store bulbs in a cool place for the winter in dry peat moss, perlite or vermiculite.
- Check on bulbs every few weeks and toss out and rotting or infested bulbs.
