- Dig up tuberous begonia tubers just before the first frost.
- Cut back the stems and foliage and remove excess soil from the tubers.
- Dry them in a protected, shady, well ventilated spot, remove dried soil but do not wash bulbs
- Store in boxes or shallow trays in a cool and dry location over the winter. Bulbs should be placed in dry vermiculite, pearlite or peat moss.
- Check on bulbs every few weeds and toss out any rotting bulbs.
