Here are some tips on using seed tape:
- It is best to plant on a day with no wind
- It is best to plant in a prepared garden bed
- Check the packet for the correct planting depth
- Dig a flat furrow at the packets recommended depth
- Unroll seed tape and place in the furrow, keep the tape flat
- Wet the tape, we recommend using a mister to thoroughly moisten tape
- Carefully cover the seed tape with very fine soil at the packets recommend amount
- Make sure all parts of the tape are covered or the tape can wick the water away
- Gently pat the soil down
- Water the row well
- Keep soil moist
- Check the packet to see when the seedlings emerge
